The DD Junior - Pyramid Tent shares the same design, strength and waterproofing as the popular DD SuperLight - Pyramid Tent, but packs it all into a smaller size for the younger adventurer!
This tent is suitable for everything from a night's garden camping, to the first multi-day trip with your child, younger sibling, or even Cub Scouts / Brownies. It is easily combined with the fully bugproof DD Junior - Pyramid Mesh Tent to create a safe haven from stormy weather or hungry insects.
Ultralight and compact for smaller rucksacks
DD SuperLight products are already some of the lightest in their category. With the smaller size of this Junior version, the final product is incredibly light at less than 400g - easy to avoid a heavy pack that might put them off the outdoors for years!
And what's more, this tent packs down incredibly small: great for smaller rucksacks...or easy to fit into a larger one if required to give a rest to tired young legs!
Simple set up
With no fiddly poles to thread through, setting up is done in a flash - and with a bit of practice is simple for kids.
Simply throw this outer tent over the set-up inner, align the doors and peg out the peg loops and guy-lines. Or if using this tent by itself, just spread it out and peg it down, and insert a hiking pole vertically up through the centre.
You can also omit the pole completely, and use a ridge-line or sturdy overhead branch connected to the top loop!
Please note: This tent requires a Hiking Pole for set-up, available separately. If using with the inner DD Junior - Pyramid Mesh Tent, only one Hiking Pole is needed for both tents.
